Product Description

Phosphatidylserine Phosphatidylserine is a protective fatty nutrient, reliably derived from soy, which contributes to cell membrane integrity.  It offers support for mental energy and memory, protecting it from stressors that accelerate with age.  It may positively interact with Omega 3 fatty acids, protecting the brain, and supporting memory.  Consumption of phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of dementia in the elderly.  Very limited and preliminary scientific research suggests that phosphatidylserine may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.  FDA concludes that there is little scientific evidence supporting this claim. This product provides 100 mg of phosphatidylserine and 120mg of mixed lipotrophic factors per capsule. L-Theanine L-Theanine is an amino acid that comes from the tea plant, but it does not build protein. Instead, it works to limit stress occasional anxiety from stress and worry. Soon after taking L-Theanine, it imparts a restful and relaxed state while still maintaining alertness. Therefore, it is free of the side effects commonly seen with other relaxing agents, side effects such as drowsiness or dullness. InVite’s L-Theanine at 100mg per capsule, clears the noise from an overly excited mind by improving focus, creativity and aptitude. L-Theanine may support focus in adults and teens. In addition, when taken at night in higher serving sizes, it can help improve the quality of sleep. L-Theanine may offset the harsh, confusing effects of cortisol (a stress hormone) on the brain and nerves and in this way may help decrease craving for comfort foods. This may be helpful for a person who is starting a diet.* Krill Oil Krill oil is extracted from small Antarctic crustaceans, the source of several highly nutritional components: 1) anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, similar to those found in fish oil, contribute nutritional support for the brain and eyes, 2) known as marine lecithin, krill supplies lipotropic Phosphatidylcholine and choline, a fatty B vitamin, required by all cells but most notably to support healthy intestinal mucosa, fat metabolism in the liver and brain support and energy, 3) Astaxanthin is a red pigment carotenoid that provides the color to cooked shrimp and salmon. Due to its lipid solubility Astaxanthin carries high antioxidant capacity on free radicals in cells, making it protective for delicate tissues. Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. One serving of Krill Oil provides 150mg gram of EPA and 90 mg of DHA omega-3 fatty acids. This product also provides 420mg of phospholipid complex, 2.52mg of Astanxanthin, 160 mg of Omega 9 fatty acids and 148mg of choline per 2 softgel serving.
